Towing Mirrors Installation Guide

Towing mirrors are perhaps one of the safest consideration that you should make before hauling any type of load on a trailer. Towing mirrors can help eliminate blind spots by allowing you to see areas that were blocked from sight by the trailer. Upgrading your OEM mirrors to Towing Mirrors are not very difficult. This is a general installation guide for upgrading to Towing Mirrors, specific truck model install may varies.

Tools Required

10mm deep socket and rachet, Phillips screwdriver.

Step 1

Remove the sail panel and door panel if necessary.

Step 2

In most cases, there will be 3 10mm nuts holding the mirror. Carefully holding the mirror while unscrew the nuts, and remove the mirror. Also, unplug wiring harness if it is a power mirror.

Step 3

Install the new towing mirror, tighten the nuts to hold the towing mirror. Plug the wiring harness if it is a power towing mirror.

Done

Test all functions before driving. Congratulation, you have finished installing towing mirrors.
